Site design updates
Monday, 27 September 2004

Finally, I took the time to make the changes to the design template I was using for the site. I needed a fluid rather fixed layout because things like the embedded WYSIWYG HTML editor and gallery-based photo album were exceeding the middle column width and breaking the banner and header. I ripped out the right-hand column as I really don't need to throw you a bunch of noise - there is enough already in the left-hand column. And I detached the header and footer from the page body to make it all more fluid. Fortunately, the design did not overly integrate the page sections to prohibit that. However, I did have quite a bit of image slicing and HTML to touch revise. I am pretty happy with the results. Now, I just want to forget about for a while so I can attend to other things - like putting more up-to-date photos in the album.
