My first portable music player
Friday, 04 March 2005

I took the plunge and purchased a Rio Karma. Rio Karma Strange how it took me so long to buy a portable music player considering I have been on the leading edge of DVD, DV, and HDTV. It has a 20GB capacity, and I purchased a refurbished unit on eBay for only $165. That is simply incredible!

I am using libkarma's riocp utility to transfer my huge collection of Ogg Vorbis files I bulk-ripped a while ago using a jukebox. Also, I extended my bashpodder script to automatically transfer podcasts to it over night.
