Ever since the Rhapsody music server became compatible with Linux through its web app using Flash, I subscribed and enjoyed the music service. However, a couple of months ago, I changed my billing credit card because I want to close that credit card account. Ever since then, I have been double-billed--once a month on both the old and new credit cards. Today, I called their Customer Service twice, and each time I received a non-native-English speaker. I believe they outsource the call center "offshore." I had a lot of difficulty communicating the problem and explaining that I do not want to cancel my service, just to be credited for two future months and to ensure the double-billing would not continue. I still am not sure what the resolution was. I received an e-mail that my account is cancelled. Now, I worry that I will be billed for a service that I can not access. I very much disklike having to deal with foreign customer service operations and typically discontinue my relationship as a customer of that business. |
