Occassionally, a Linux user is interesting in capturing DV via USB. While this has historically been a rare feature on cameras, I think it is more commonplace. However, I am not going to buy a new camera just for this. Therefore, this cable looks handy. This Linux project is the correct place to conduct this development for whomever is interested. I might get around to it, but not likely.
